I strongly lobbied against the genocidal sanction and wars in Iraq which have wrecked havoc and brought misery upon the hapless people of Iraq. Leaving DU in Iraq emitting radiation is unforgivable.

Radioactive and poisonous material in the form of Depleted Uranium (DU) has been showered over my people in Iraq during two wars in 1991 and 2003 launched by US/UK.
The UK had passed several laws criminalizing the use and handling of DU. Since the mid 1990s Iraq has  witnessed a sharp rise in cancer and birth deformities, especially in those areas that had been subject to the heaviest  attack by DU munitions.

The UK has failed to clean the contaminated areas of its military operation as NATO did in Serbia.

We are campaigning to raise funds to enable us to bring action in the courts to force the UK Government to own up to its responsibility in paying for the treatment of the victims of the crime and in locating and cleaning the sites where DU shells were fired.

We are trying to secure justice for the current victims and to prevent further damage to the environment and next generations of people by eliminating exposure.

We are hoping to raise £5000 to cover the initial stage of preparing the case for the first stage of legal proceedings.

Once we cross the first stage we will launch a second campaign to fund the legal proceedings in the High Court.
