The Scotswood Three are facing trial in February 2026 for a brave action they took against an Israeli state-owned weapons factory, Pearson Engineering (owned by Rafael) on Scotswood Road in Newcastle.

We are raising £18,000 to fund the legal fees of one of the three women. We're asking to raise £2000 within the first 30 days of this fundraiser, but would need the full amount of the stretch target to cover the legal fees.

The reason this is essential is due to Summer's housing situation. Summer owns half of the home she lives in, after it was left to her and another family member when her mam died almost 3 years ago. If these funds are not raised, an order will be put against her home to reclaim the asset. This home holds so much sentimental value, and we need to make sure Summer does not have to sell her childhood home. 

The Crown Prosecution Service is trying to charge the Scotswood Three with criminal damage. The Israeli-owned factory produces critical technology amongst other military items that are used by the IDF, who are committing genocide in Gaza. We believe that by halting the production of these, the Scotswood 3 are saving lives, and ensuring Newcastle and the UK are not breaking international law. This highlights the hypocrisy of the ruling class when Netanyahu, a war criminal who is leading a genocide of c. 500,000 Palestinians and destroying 75% of infrastructure within Gaza, walks free. We believe the Scotswood Three are innocent! 

The Scotswood Three are due in court on 20th June for their defense hearing, and their court hearing is due to start on 23rd February 2026.
