Who Am I? 

My name is Cathy, I'm now 56 yrs old, with 3 grown up boys and 4 grandchildren. I am one of 6 children myself, my parents are both Greek and unfortunately both no longer with us. When i was younger i always thought i would be successful. From a very young age i kept a journal and always been creative with writing songs and poetry.  

I invented the stencil brow but had my idea stolen from me. I am fighting for justice to get what is owed me. But I can't do this alone. Please help me by sharing the link to this page with your friends and family and contributing now. 

Case background

Back in 1990 i  invented the "stencil brow".  With 3 young boys and also being a single mother, my parents gave me three thousand pounds to go to London to have a world wide search done to make sure nothing like my stencil brow was on the market, and there was not.

While working two jobs and attending business school then home to be a mother  Times were so very hard.. but i kept the faith as i believed in my product , the day would soon come where our lives will be better.  As the company in London who did the search took most of the three thousand pounds i knew  i could not move forward. i decided to write to a well known celebrity in Chicago, she was my hero, to help me endorse my product for a percentage of the sales 

After many months with no reply i called her office,  the receptionist said "my stencil  brow information will be kept on file" for if they ever decide to endorse my product. i was so disheartened. I then decided to go to college to do a Btec national in creative arts and music. that is were i made my product prototype and i also have a witness who is now famous. who can also verify the product was mine.  

Fast forward to 1996. One day i opened a magazine and seen my stencils being advertised, I was physically sick. 

I rushed home and called the person to whom i had sent my design too.  I was told its still on file.  how could this be? i went to see my solicitors,and was told as i only have a copyright there was nothing i could do at that time, because, my copyright will only stand up in a court of law in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and it was sent to America. Suddenly there they are, my stencils sold all up and down the country. and once again nothing i can do apart from take court action which would cost a mountain of money. of which i did not have. 

Its taken me many yrs to find out who stole my product. i cant name names for legal reasons. Three years ago i called her London offices, the secretary told me she was "out of the country, she would give her my message when she returned.". Within twenty minutes she called me. oh my god, she started by saying, "what do you want?"  i told her" I want what is rightfully mine. I then said "you knew this day would one day come". I asked her where she got the idea from she proceeded with her voice stuttering and said she was on holiday in Chicago and saw it in a back street chemist. I told her that i hold the copyright .she even had the audacity to say " can you send it to me, to prove i was genuine".  she was the thief and here she is trying to still play me. how does she sleep at night. talk about kick someone when their down. the last words she said to me before hanging up was "prove it". this person has crucified me. she has stolen my life,my dreams and also my sons and my family"s inheritance. Apart from trying to hold everything together, this fraudster who stole my product was also sending me photos of her and her family living the high life. what a b**** .  

How much am I raising and why?

So here I am at your mercy, all i want , is like i said to her what is rightfully mine. I am asking for £2,500 as i want my day in court and to look her in the eyes and see her world crumble. Who knows how much time we have left on this earth.  i"m pretty sure you would fight for what you worked hard for. It is an very arrogant woman who sells my product. she has houses all over the world. 

They say "the truth will always out".this is my truth, and i will be heard. I just want to wake up from this nightmare. I don"t think i shall ever have peace in my life until i get answers. Why should we fear the fat cats?
