Hi my name is Felix Efefiong Nta. The reason I am crowdfunding my case Is because I need support and awareness in a case that does not only affect me but many that live in the UK.

Who am I?

My name is Felix Efefiong Nta I moved to the UK in Jan 1 2012, I was 15 years old when I moved to the UK.

Why am I raising funds?

The purpose of this page is to help create financial support in order to raise some money which will enable me to submit an application for leave to remain to regularise my stay in the UK because I can't afford to do so.

Please I want you to look into my story because there are a lot of people going through a similar situation I am going through but they do not know where to get the right support and this could really help not just me but anyone going through a crisis such as this know where to get the help and support they deserve.

My story

I lived in London with my grandma. I started education in September the same year, I have my GCSEs and went on to study Sports Anatomy and Psychology in college and achieved all the necessary grades required. I would like to go into university to further my education and enhance my skills of becoming a personal trainer but I can not because of my circumstances.

I met my girlfriend who is now the mother of my child in September 2016 and we had our first child on February 4 2019 . I have lived with her for 2 years and we are happy together. My brother, sister, mom and grandmother all live here in the UK the only family I had in Nigeria was my great grand mother but she passed away on February 2017. That being said, I came here while I was still young, did not know anything about the system or how it works. All I knew as a child was to go to school and be the best I can be.

My future in the UK is promising because I have finished and achieved good grades for my course. I am a respective, kind and a hardworking individual. I have never gotten into trouble with the police or been a threat to the society or anyone and I know just how the system works. I do not have a future in Nigeria because I was a child when I lived there and I did not know much about anything. All I remember really was my education there. I do not have any family or friends over there and I now have a baby so it will be impossible to raise her in a place where I do not have any support and know anything about. To live in Nigeria you will need to know somebody as everything works remotely so putting someone there who knows no one or nothing about would make their life catastrophic!

Research shows that Nigeria has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world and it'll be cruel putting an innocent child through that risk, compared to here in the UK whereas the infant  mortality rate is declining each year. Overall my baby will have family support and friends in the UK compared to Nigeria.

I would of had a career in the gym as a personal trainer but due to my circumstances I could not work as I was not entitled to. This has been a huge setback in my life because I am not heading to where I am supposed to be. Coursemates of mine who were in the same class as me has progressed higher into their profession doing what I should be doing and it really hurts because I have put a lot into my education not to be able to show the world my abilities and commitment.

Now that I have a child I really need to work and provide for them. I do not want to let them down because of my situation.

Why am I raising funds?

The application form cost is about £1000 and I would be most grateful if you can please donate towards it. This will help not just me but a lot of people who are fighting a similar case get the support they need. I want to be able to work and provide for not just my family but for the society. I have met a lot of wonderful people here and I would like to give back to them the right way.

Thank you for going through my case with me. Please support me by making a donation as it will benefit my case.

Thank you once more.
