Bring Nemo Home
Bring Nemo Home
Captain Nemo is my first baby horse, I purchased him off his breeder on 6th June 2000 when he was 4yrs old.
I allowed a third party to care for Nemo at their own premises. I have tried to collect him a number of times and each time refused access. Every attempt I have made in trying to avoid issuing court proceedings has failed and I am now left with no other option.
I have been trying to recover him since June 2016 to no avail. I now have no option but to instruct solicitors to support me in recovery, but I need to raise the funds to get there.
I now need your help to help me raise £4,000 in order to pay for my legal fees and get my horse back.
I have cared for Nemo since that time until handing his care to someone else in late 2013. Nemo is the sweetest, gentlest kindest horse, he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He was trained with natural horsemanship and is now retired. I had the pleasure of showing him where he came 4th at Search for a Star aged 5yrs. He was my first ever baby horse and he means the world to me - my buddy and member of my family. He would follow me without a head collar and we would play tag in the fields or school. Nemo is my pride and joy. I am desperate to have him back home with me where he belongs. For various personal reasons, he needed to be looked after by someone else for a while and I am struggling to get him back home.
This final step to get him home after months of trying is so close I can almost touch him. I am 51 years with some physical disabilities. Nemo is a very special boy, looking after me with such grace and full of fun.
Nemo is an old man now and deserves to be back home with me where he will be cherished until the day he leaves this world.
Please do support me and help get Nemo home.
