I am a 61 yr old retired civil servant who worked all my life to look after my wife and two children who both went through university.I was looking forward to a happy retirement in the family home we had lived in until Barclays Bank and their Solicitors lied and lied and stole our home from us. Leaving us homeless at the later stage of our lives. We have full written proof of these facts
The reason I require your help to obtain justice
The mortgage we had was mis sold to us for a number of reasons, the main one being the incorrect charging of interest rates, and the belief that we had legal representation. We have all the required proof to win the case but not the funds to do so, Barclays by mistake sent us internal emails which shows the deceit and misrepresentation of the facts.
The story was covered by the “Sun” newspaper
The following is a brief summary of the case
We need to raise the funds to obtain a top class Barristers opinion of our case and how to take it forward.Initially we require £3500 to obtain the opinion of a senior counsel We will require approximately a further £25,000 if we go to hearing in the High Court. If the senior counsel comes back with the opinion we are expecting, the case may be settled out of court.

More than anything I would like justice in this case to once again have somewhere that my wife and children can call home again. The case may also have a very large knock on effect for everyone who has had a “ Free Legal Mortgage “ as in reality there is no such thing and customers have been missold this type of Mortgage. This could effectively affect thousands and thousands of customers and may rival PPI in payouts. Help us help other members of the public
This is how low Barclays Solicitors will stoop (Paragraph from Barclays internal emails)
We may be able to help thousands of other people in a similar situation
The Plan of action
We will have to have all the evidence that we have reviewed and then if we have a strong case and only a strong case will we proceed to issuing proceedings to take the matter to court. I do not believe in just taking funds and throwing them at a hopeless case, so everyone will be kept fully informed and updated.
How much do we need ?
I estimate that we will require in the region of £25000 to get the case through. But the initial funding of £3500 could possibly be all we need. Remember Barclays will be throwing all they have at this case to stop it. The adverse publicity will be huge as they repossessed our home when we were actually in the black. (Figures proven by a qualified actuary)
This case has had a huge effect on our family and our health and all we want is a fair day in court.
I am happy to discuss any alternative options that anyone interested enough to read this has to put forward .
Thank you for your time and if you need any more information before possibly assisting please feel free to contact me.
Everyone deserves a fair hearing and up to this stage Barclays have treated us as if we are not even human, 27 letters asking for a meetings denied, emails saying they are putting any further correspondence in the bin !
Let us have a chance to look these cowards in the eye in court and perhaps have our own home again by next Christmas.
Thank you once again for your time.

Pledges
The pledges have started to come in, please do not think your pledge I’d too small. Every penny is appreciated and if we end up with 350 people pledging £10 it will mean we have 350 at our back pushing us forward. Thank you all.
