LGBT and Human Rights: Help Fight my Deportation!
LGBT and Human Rights: Help Fight my Deportation!
Who am I?
My name is Ahmad Butt. I am bisexual and engaged to a British Citizen. My partner's name is Jade. I was born in Pakistan but I have resided half of my life in the UK as I arrived in the UK at the age of 14 to live with my family who are all British Citizens and are also residing in UK.
My Case
I am bisexual and if I am forced to go back to Pakistan, this will put my life in danger. I have no family house or support in Pakistan, as all my family are residing in the UK and do not want to help me because of my sexuality.
My partner and I have been together for over 3 years now. She is British citizen and we are engaged. My partner suffers from a serious life long mental health illness. I am the main carer of my partner. Immigration have been fully aware of the situation but ignored our rights and do not care about her or my life, if we live or die.
Our Human Rights and my LGBT Rights have been neglected.
Why am I raising funds?
I am not allowed to work because of my ongoing immigration matter and we are currently living on basics just to survive. Due to the government's cuts in legal funding, I only get a limited amount of funds to support my case. I have requested to be allowed to work so I can pay for my case and contribute towards our country but they do not allow it.
We have lodged this campaign to raise money to pay for our lawyer so we can get justice.
