Holding parking investment fraudsters to account
Holding parking investment fraudsters to account
We are group of ordinary people that have fallen victim to what appears to be an extraordinary financial fraud.
We were preyed upon by a sophisticated network of individuals and companies operating what now appears to have been a scam from day one. We were sold parking spaces with the promise of a guaranteed return on our investment over six years. If that sounds too good to be true, that's because it was. We were lied to and now we're seeking justice.
The scam appears to have affected over 5,000 people across the UK and abroad, with a total value exceeding £200 million. The minimum investment from every investor was £20,000.
Our livelihoods have been devastated, pensions and life savings lost. We're taking action to hold these individuals to account. But we need your help. Please contribute what you can and share this page with your friends, family and on social media.
Case Background
The scheme entices people to invest their savings and pensions in buying car parking spaces around Glasgow and Gatwick airports on the promise of an attractive return on their investment of 8% per annum which is earned from letting out the spaces. We were also promised that we could get our money out of the scheme after 6 years.
Far from seeing the promised returns - we never saw any return on our investment. We have now been told that we will not be able to take our money out of the scheme either. Many of us have lost our entire pensions.
We believe the group sold these spaces in contravention of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. We also believe that despite this contravention the FCA failed to intervene in any meaningful way.
Shouldn't there be protection against companies behaving in this way?
This kind of fraud is more common than you'd think. The same Group has also previously been accused of mis-selling storage spaces to thousands of other unsuspecting investors. Many of these investors were also retired pensioners who cannot afford to lose their life savings and pensions. We have strong grounds to suspect that this group are formulating their next scheme as we speak.
We raise funds to help to take a stand against these people by taking them to court.
While they have millions of pounds of our money at their disposal, we are in need of funds to enable us to continue our fight for justice in court.
How much are we raising and why?
We need your help in stopping such schemes by funding us to take these cheats to court so that they are deterred and stopped from mis-selling to other people and are made to pay for their crime.
Please donate generously as every single penny will go directly to funding our claims to pay towards the high costs of legal fees, court fees, barrister fees and other incidental expenses.
We would like to thank you all in advance for your generosity in helping us bring to justice those who mis-sell to the ordinary hardworking men and women so that they can live lives of millionaires.
