We all assume that we are protected by Health & Safety from overhead electricity cables. We may be at work, but not in our homes, public footpaths, parks and playgrounds. This needs to change.

Who am I? - My name is Steph.  My husband was killed at home on un-risk assessed high voltage uninsulated cable.

Summary - There were many breaches of regulations that could affect ANY and ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC on their private land, public footpaths, parks and playgrounds. Despite their mission statement and responsibilities, HSE refuse to consider reasonable assessment of any non-work related accidents and deaths from electricity cables.

Call to action - We want to undertake a Judicial Review, to challenge this huge oversight. There is no other way or 'no win no fee' available to the public.

What are we trying to achieve? - Did you know that if an accident occurs on your own property,  private and public areas, other than at work, you are not protected by any Health & Safety regulations. The public are being failed by HSE, Parliamentary Health & Service Ombudsman and the Government.

What is the next step in the case? - To file a request for a Judicial Review based on evidence already gathered.

How much we are raising and why? - We are hoping to raise £8,000 to pay for a Judicial Review request to challenge the gaps in regulation for the public and not to be ignored by the HSE.

Thank you
