My name is Theophelia Owusu Tuffour I reside with my two children, a boy of 10 years and a girl of 11 years, both were born in the United Kingdom.

Who am I?

My Name is Theophelia Owusu Tuffour. I live in the UK with my two children: my boy  is 10 years old and my girl  is 11 years old. Both of my children were born in the UK. Me and my children live  here and we want to stay here.

My case

My daughter is a British citizen by virtue of the British Nationality Act of 1981. However, I still need to register my son as a British citizen but the fee for the registration is incredibly high at £1206. This makes it very difficult to afford for someone in my circumstances.

I also need to apply for Leave to Remain for myself, as the parent of children who are present and settled in the UK. This will enable me find work to support my family and contribute to the UK economy as I so desperately want to. The fee I need to pay for my application is £1033, with an additional Immigration Insurance Surcharge of £500.

I also need to raise £2,100 for the legal costs involved. Once again these are all sums that I cannot afford.

Why is this important?

It's crucial that I register my son in the UK to give him the best chance for his future and that I can stay here with him and my daughter.

The legal cost and the Home Office fees are astronomically high and I do not have any means to raise the funds.

Please help me by making a small donation to my case by sharing the campaign with friends and family - any help you can give me is so greatly appreciated!
