Public body wrongly disclosed data, please help us get our lives back!
Who are we?:
We are a family who have had our lives turned upside down after a public body wrongly disclosed our personal data.
Our Case:
Because of the breach of our data, negligence occurred and our family were put at risk - huge risk.
The public body have accepted this and do not dispute liability. To facilitate the settlement we need to raise these funds, so we can have legal representation to hold them accountable.
They have already admitted they have breached our data and misused it and caused us harm and that what they did should not have happened. They accept we should be able to live our lives as we were before this happened. To achieve a positive outcome for us we need the help of the solicitor.
Why we need your help.
We need your kindness and your help to raise money for our solicitor to hold this public body accountable. We need to get our lives back.
This situation has affected, and is continuing to affect our family life, our work and other aspects. We have a solicitor who wants to help and will hopefully be able to carry out the work after the initial work (which we are seeking funding for here) on the basis that our costs are paid out of the monies we recover.
- All funds raised from each pledge you make will be used solely by the solicitor and sent directly to our lawyer directly by CrowdJustice.
We are retaining our privacy as our family had to move because of the risk they caused. Thank you for supporting, we are very very grateful. Thank you.
Our first target is to reach £3500 to give us about a half way mark but we need to reach £6500 total.
