Help me continue my fight for reform of the misconduct process
Help me continue my fight for reform of the misconduct process
My ex-employer has a duty of care to protect employees and members of the public against anyone who sexually assaults them. This isn’t happening which has resulted in a culture of misogyny and a lack of ability to deal with sexual offences carried out by their own employees.
I have managed to raise an amazing £10,000 from friends, their friends and from family so far which is amazing!
I’m a woman trying to get justice for myself and others who are affected by the institutions who are supposed to protect us.
I’m currently going through an employment tribunal with my precious employer who failed to protect me against a colleague who seriously sexually assaulted me at work.
My solicitor estimates my costs to be approximately £25,000 should this get all the way to a tribunal so I need all the help I am get.
The next step is a case hearing where my barrister will be fighting to show my case is strong enough to continue. This could involve the tribunal asking me to pay up to £1000 per claim to continue.
My aim is to keep adding to my legal fees fund in order to be able to use solicitors and barristers to help. This is is a bit of a test case and so I won’t get far alone.
I can’t over state how amazing my support network is and say thank you to everyone who has helped me so far.
Any unused funds will go to the Centre for Women’s Justice who have provided me with so much help and support.
