We are filing a lawsuit to force the Government to admit the Northern Ireland Protocol discriminates against British citizens and businesses. We fully expect to win, but we need your help.

When most of the United Kingdom left the EU proper at the beginning of this year, a precious part of it was left behind. In an instant, our country was splintered, causing misery for thousands of British traders and businesses as they found themselves permanently locked in an uneven playing field threatening the very future of the Union.

By creating a border within the Irish Sea the British Government has left Northern Ireland and its people behind to be punished by big bully Brussels. Now it’s time for the little guy to fight back and beat the corrupt bloc.

We are filing a lawsuit to force the British Government to own up to its wrongdoing in agreeing to implement the Northern Ireland Protocol, the “mechanism” cooked up by Eurocrats to disrupt trade within the UK with deeply unfair consequences for hundreds of thousands of ordinary people.

The government has openly admitted they are getting a rough deal. Our lawsuit will seal that admission with a declaration that the Protocol unlawfully discriminates against Northern Ireland and is preventing free trade with the rest of the UK, paving the way for the Protocol’s timely termination.

We support other legal claims by fellow unionists who want to see off the EU Protocol, but this commercial case is unique in targeting the mechanism’s weak spot, namely the commerce-killing checks and restrictions on trade that put so many citizens at a disadvantage, infringing on their rights.

We fully expect to win, triggering a cascade of compensation for thousands of wronged businesses, which will ultimately lead to the Protocol’s necessary demise, saving the Union in the process.

Victory in the courts will destroy it. But to get there, we need your support.

The history of our great Union is defined, not by the entitled elites but the pluck, spirit, decency and dedication of ordinary men and women sticking their neck out and getting the job done.

It was the elites that took us into the European Common Market and then the EU, and it was the people who donated, campaigned and voted to get us out.

By the same token, it was the elites who catastrophically urged the creation of the Protocol. With this lawsuit, the people will rescue Northern Ireland to the shock and horror of the conceited elites. Grassroots donations and votes made the difference at the referendum in 2016 and they can do it in 2021. We can get the job done, but we need your help.

Who are we
Ian Paisley, MP for North Antrim

Has coordinated a number of commercial interests representing haulage, manufacturing, retail and agriculture to commence an action on grounds of the economic discrimination of Northern Ireland business causing harm to the whole of the UK.

What are our objectives
These commercial interests are preparing an action in the High Court in London to show the Northern Ireland Protocol discriminates against the people of Northern Ireland trapped by the new border in the Irish Sea, that has decimated trade within the United Kingdom. We want businesses and consumers protected from this damage. Our main objective is to force an admission from the Government that the Protocol infringes on people’s rights!

Timeline
Preparation of the action is now well underway with the object of serving proceedings on the government by early June with a full hearing in the High Court in London as soon as possible.

 Our fundraising targets
