We continue to believe we have a good legal case – but our challenge remains to ensure we can translate that belief into actions that secure the Campaign objectives.

Previously we have raised funds for legal advice, to instruct counsel and solicitors and to issue legal letters to BP and the Pension Fund Trustee.

This third fundraising will enable our lawyers to tackle the comprehensive letters received back from the Trustee and BP’s solicitors and the additional extensive (confidential) document packs.

Our external lawyers will need to review and interrogate these materials and make recommendations to us before taking the next step which would most likely require seeking a Court ruling on the matters that our solicitor has raised in detail with both BP and the Pension Fund Trustee.

We are asking members to contribute £20 each - whether you are a first-time donor or one of our previous generous donors.

It’s really important that we all feel part of supporting the campaign as we reach this critical stage. By contributing £20, it tells us that we have your approval and support.

Please note that your donation can be made with complete anonymity if you wish and we stress that contributing won’t expose or commit you, in any way, to the costs of any future legal action.
