My friend was subjected to a vicious campaign of lies which resulted in police interviews that determined 'no further action'. Police then lost the original statements which allowed the complainants to add more malicious lies to their false accusations and my friend to be tried in court for these.

 After being wrongfully convicted through a horrific miscarriage of justice he has sought new counsel who has identified grounds for appeal and he is now trying to raise the required funds to clear his name.

The new evidence that is coming out seems to point to deliberate misconduct of his own defence counsel and the unfairness of the trial is shocking to the extreme.

We desperately need to raise £1800 to pay the solicitors fees to enable us to start the appeal and right this wrong.

Any help you can offer no matter how small would be hugely appreciated. I feel this is only the beginning of uncovering huge mistakes throughout this whole process that led to an innocent man being convicted.
